Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) President Mahesh Shrestha has said that the Badri KC-led working committee's attempt to hold a general convention while the case is pending in the Supreme Court is a clear disobedience to the court's order. According to Shrestha, the order to present the issue of whether Badri KC's working committee will work or not until 2082 Kartik 4 (October 21, 2025) to the full bench of the Supreme Court was given by a joint bench of Justice Bal Krishna Dhakal and Justice Abdul Aziz Musalman in the Supreme Court on Baisakh 23.
