Budhathoki elected unopposed in full contact karate



Kathmandu,. The general meeting of the Nepal Full Contact Karate Federation elected a 22-member central working committee under the chairmanship of Surya Bahadur Budhathoki unopposed on Saturday.

From the general meeting held in Kirtipur, Prem Bahadur Tamang was elected as senior vice-president, Raju Tuladhar, Dhan Bahadur Tamang and Nanda Kumar Kirati as vice-presidents, Premnath Shrestha as general secretary, Rajiv Khadka as secretary and Bir Krishna Maharjan as treasurer.



Amir Ode, Kamala Gharti, Yangshu Shrestha, Jagat Bahadur Dhami, Pawan Magar, Hit Bahadur Moktan, Anil Shrestha, Suryakumar Karki, Birendra Chand, Bivek Kumar Dahal, Ramhari Khadka, Harka Bahadur Tamang and Sagar Bista were elected as members.

The first meeting of the newly elected working committee held on Saturday nominated Kalpana Acharya, Ramesh Tamang and Min Bahadur Shahi as vice-presidents. Similarly, Gautam Shah and Shakti Jamuna Shah were nominated as members.



The newly elected office bearers were presented certificates by National Sports Council (NSC) member Jagat Singh Dhami, Chief Electoral Officer and Head of Sports Development Department Saroj Kumar Pokharel, among others, during a program. Earlier, the general assembly was inaugurated by NSC member-secretary Tank Lal Ghising.
