Nepali team wins bronze medal at Culinary Malaysia 2025

Malaysia. The Nepali team has secured third place (bronze medal) at Asia's largest and most prestigious culinary competition, 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗮 2025, held in Kuala Lumpur from September 23 to 26. Organized as Expo Culinary, Asia's largest and most prestigious culinary and food exhibition, this event saw nearly 1,500 young chefs from more than 50 countries participate in a live cooking competition. The team, led by General Secretary Padam Bahadur Ale Magar and led by Chef Association of Nepal, included Sanil Dangol, Chhatra Bahadur Thapa Magar, and Padam Bahadur Magar. Kathmandu Metropolitan City hands over ambulance to Amachodingmo Rural Municipality

Kathmandu. Kathmandu Metropolitan City has handed over an ambulance to the Gatlang Health Post under Amachodingmo Rural Municipality. Kathmandu Metropolitan City provided the ambulance to Amachodingmo Rural Municipality on Thursday as a grant. The ambulance that the metropolis handed over to Amachodingmo Rural Municipality has been handed over by the Rural Municipality Chairman Buchung Tamang. The ambulance received by the Rural Municipality will be operated through the Gatlang Health Post. Team Kalratri wins the trophy of this year's BMJ Dashain Cup Futsal Competition 2082

BMJ Reloaded Club, Friends and Fitness located in Budhanilkantha 7 Kapan, as part of its regular program, has completed the BMJ Dashain Cup One-Day Seven-A-Side Futsal Competition at Euro Futsal Ground, Baluvakhani Kapan, along with a Dashain greetings exchange program.  As Dashain, Tihar and Chhath, which are considered as Nepali festivals, are approaching, the tradition of various associations, institutions and clubs organizing their own programs to celebrate it with grandeur continues today and tomorrow. 5 teams participated in the competition held at Euro Futsal Ground on Saturday, 4th Asoj, 2082 from 6 am to 11 am. The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) International Coordination Council (ICC) has appointed Narayan Bhandari (social worker) as the chairperson of the Youth Entrepreneurship and Leadership Committee. The ICC meeting held on 18th August selected Bhandari to the post for the 2025-2027 term. As the chairperson of the committee, he will report directly to the head of the Youth Department. A letter issued by the NRNA said, 'This responsibility has been given in recognition of Bhandari's continuous commitment, extraordinary dedication, and significant contribution to the Non-Resident Nepali movement.' Kathmandu. Former Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) President Rabina Thapa has congratulated Sushila Karki on her appointment as the first female Prime Minister of Nepal. Thapa, in a statement, said that she is proud that the Genji generation campaign has succeeded in producing the first female Prime Minister in Nepal's history. She said that the historical presence of women in Nepal's leadership is a source of national pride. According to her, there is a need to address sensitive issues such as the continuity of Nepali citizenship based on lineage through a constitutional amendment.
