13 April, Kathmandu. Nepal defeated Qatar by 32 runs in their second match under ACC Premier Cup 2024 on Saturday. Chasing the huge target of 211 runs given by Nepal at the Al Amret Cricket Ground in Oman, Qatar managed to score only 178 runs by losing 9 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs. For Nepal, Dipendra Singh Airi scored 64 runs in 21 balls with the help of 3 fours and 7 sixes and Asif Shaikh contributed 52 runs and Qatar got a huge target of 211 runs. For Qatar, captain Mohammad Tanveer scored 63 runs in 33 balls, Mohammad Anaf scored 23, Kamran Khan scored 18, Adan Mirza scored 19, and Himanshu Rathod added 22 runs, but it was not enough for the team to win. Nepal's Dipendra Singh Airi, Lalit Rajvanshi and Gulsan Jha took 2/2 wickets and Kushal Malla and Avinash Bohra took 1/1 wicket each.
