Riteish Deshmukh in 'Raja Shivaji', When Will it be Released?

The craze for period drama films has increased in India recently. After the success of Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal's film 'Chhawa', there has been a competition to make a similar film. Meanwhile, the name of Riteish Deshmukh's upcoming film 'Raja Shivaji' has been added. The production team has also announced the release date of the film by releasing a poster. The film will be released on May 1, 2026. According to Indian media Dainik Jagran, work is currently underway on the making of the film. Along with Riteish, the film will feature actors such as Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Bhagyashree, Jitendra Joshi, Amol Gupte, Genelia Deshmukh. Riteish is playing the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the film. Apart from Marathi, the film will also be released in other languages, including Hindi. Riteish Deshmukh himself will direct the film.
