The voting process for selecting the new leadership of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) USA began on Sunday. About 13,000 members of the association will vote for their preferred candidates through ballots sent via email and mobile. This time, there will be a three-way competition between Bhanu Kharel, Satendra Sah, and Ramhari Adhikari for the post of president. All three candidates were intensifying the final phase of activities to woo voters before the election. Due to the divisions, disputes, and internal dissatisfaction seen in the last term, this time the members have appeared more cautious in selecting the leadership. Dr. Shesh Ghale, Chair of the High-Level Committee of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), has urged all to obtain membership by April 7, 2025, and join the campaign for institutional reforms.   Speaking virtually with journalists, Ghale described the General Convention scheduled for May 3–5, 2025, in Kathmandu as a historic opportunity, emphasizing efforts to ensure broad participation. He stressed the need to reform the organization’s statutes, draft necessary documents, and set a new direction for the NRNA through the convention.   Ghale informed that the High-Level Committee has extended the membership deadline to April 7 and opened delegate applications until April 22.   Kathmandu, April 1  – The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) has finalized the nomination fees for candidates vying for leadership positions in its upcoming "Unity Convention," scheduled to take place in Kathmandu from  May 3–5, 2025 . The  High-Level Committee , formed by the Supreme Court, set the fees during its  13th meeting .
