13 April, Kathmandu. Nepal defeated Qatar by 32 runs in their second match under ACC Premier Cup 2024 on Saturday. Chasing the huge target of 211 runs given by Nepal at the Al Amret Cricket Ground in Oman, Qatar managed to score only 178 runs by losing 9 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs. For Nepal, Dipendra Singh Airi scored 64 runs in 21 balls with the help of 3 fours and 7 sixes and Asif Shaikh contributed 52 runs and Qatar got a huge target of 211 runs. For Qatar, captain Mohammad Tanveer scored 63 runs in 33 balls, Mohammad Anaf scored 23, Kamran Khan scored 18, Adan Mirza scored 19, and Himanshu Rathod added 22 runs, but it was not enough for the team to win. Nepal's Dipendra Singh Airi, Lalit Rajvanshi and Gulsan Jha took 2/2 wickets and Kushal Malla and Avinash Bohra took 1/1 wicket each. ACC Premier Cup Cricket: Nepal need to score 144 runs to beat Malaysia

Kathmandu. In the first match of the ACC Men's Premier Cup cricket tournament held in Oman on Friday, Malaysia set a target of 144 runs to win against Nepal. After winning the toss and deciding to bat first, Malaysia scored 143 runs after losing three wickets in the allotted overs. Opener batsman Virendeep Singh contributed unbeaten 72 runs for Malaysia. He faced just 57 balls and hit four sixes and four fours. The third batsman Shravin Muniyandi also added 41 runs to the account of the team. Shrawin faced only 33 balls and hit two sixes and three fours. Opener Muhammad Amir scored 16 runs and Najams Shakib scored three unbeaten runs.
