Trilateral clash in NRNA America, Kharel, Sah for president, and Anup Khanal takes over as Adhikari general secretary

The voting process for selecting the new leadership of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) USA began on Sunday. About 13,000 members of the association will vote for their preferred candidates through ballots sent via email and mobile. This time, there will be a three-way competition between Bhanu Kharel, Satendra Sah, and Ramhari Adhikari for the post of president. All three candidates were intensifying the final phase of activities to woo voters before the election. "HPV Vaccination for Cancer Prevention Now Available in All Provinces"

  Kathmandu, April 1  – The Ministry of Health and Population has dispatched  Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccines  to all seven provinces of Nepal for the prevention of  cervical cancer . Key Details: Vaccine Supply : A total of  1,770,020 doses  of HPV vaccine have arrived in Nepal with support from  Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance . The vaccines are being  distributed free of cost  nationwide. Vaccination Campaign : Target Group:  Schoolgirls (grades 6–10) and out-of-school girls aged 10–14 years  (total target:  1,688,900 girls ). Campaign Period:  February 4 – March 20, 2025  ( Magh 22 to Falgun 6, 2081 BS ).
