Nepali team wins bronze medal at Culinary Malaysia 2025




Malaysia. The Nepali team has secured third place (bronze medal) at Asia's largest and most prestigious culinary competition, 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗮 2025, held in Kuala Lumpur from September 23 to 26.

Organized as Expo Culinary, Asia's largest and most prestigious culinary and food exhibition, this event saw nearly 1,500 young chefs from more than 50 countries participate in a live cooking competition.

The team, led by General Secretary Padam Bahadur Ale Magar and led by Chef Association of Nepal, included Sanil Dangol, Chhatra Bahadur Thapa Magar, and Padam Bahadur Magar.

In the grand finale, the selection of Nepali dishes like aganoma-roasted khukhura, basari-roasted fish, and yomari impressed the judges, which brought Nepal's culinary heritage to the forefront worldwide.

The competition made Nepali food famous and made Nepal and Nepalese people proud. Today, Nepal has also proven that Nepali dishes are not only delicious and healthy, but also worth competing with the world.
