Youth rise up against corruption in Khanikhola 4, Kavre

Kathmandu. Youth interest in the Citizen Campaign Against Corruption Nepal, which is moving forward as a social organization with a commitment to a zero tolerance policy towards corruption and envisioning a prosperous Nepal through peace, development and production, has increased. 

The organization announced that the importance of the Citizen Campaign against Corruption has increased greatly in the current situation of the country and that the organization will be made nationwide. A ward committee was formed in Khanikhola Rural Municipality Ward No. 4 of Kavrepalanchok district soon after the organization announced that the organization would be made nationwide.



Rupesh Lopchan, a young man who has been working in the social and political fields for a long time, has taken the responsibility of organizing and expanding the program coordinator of the Anti-Corruption Campaign in Kavrepalanchok and has taken the work of expanding the organization from his own ward within a short time. 

A gathering held in Khanikhola Rural Municipality Ward No. 4 of Kavrepalanchok district announced a 21-member ward committee under the coordination of Ngema Thing. 

The co-coordinators of the committee are Shyam Waju and Som Bahadur Syangtan, while Bikram Jimba, Suresh Bal, Tshiring Thokar, Bhim Bahadur Ghalan, Deep Bal, Rajina Lopchan, Samar Jimba, Biklal Lopchan, Shuk Bahadur Ghalan, Prabin Lopchan, Chandradhwaj Syangtan, Saroj Syangtan, Prem Bahadur Lopchan, Abil Syangtan, Som Bahadur Syangtan, Vijay Jimba, Buddha Syangtan, Shibaraj Syangtan have been selected as members. 

The participants have stated that they have joined this organization by increasing their activity in the development and construction of the ward and municipality and by moving forward with a zero tolerance policy towards corruption. 

Now, this organization will play an important role in reducing corruption to zero by creating awareness among the general public and monitoring government offices and schemes, informed Rupesh Lopchan, Program Coordinator of Kavre District

Coordinator Lopchan says that they are now in the process of gradually building similar active organizations at the municipal level and in Kavre district as well.
