Dr. Ramesh Adhikari, Principal of South Western School, was honored with the medal at a ceremony organized by College Readers magazine at the University of Greenwich on Monday in the presence of the Nepali Ambassador to the UK, Chandra Kumar Ghimire, as the chief guest, and the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Jane Harrington, and the vice-chancellors and officials of various Nepali universities.

Dr. Adhikari was honored as part of an initiative to honor individuals who have contributed to educational advancement in Nepal at the international level, said Prof. Dr. Deepak Bahadur Shakya, Vice-Chancellor of Madhesh University and head of the jury.

Addressing the ceremony, Nepali Ambassador to the UK Chandra Kumar Ghimire said that these awards are a celebration of the Nepal-UK partnership and shared values.
