Chief Minister Karki urges: 'Let's resolve the dispute between electricity and the private sector through dialogue'



Biratnagar. Koshi Province Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki has said that the dispute between the Nepal Electricity Authority and the private sector should be resolved immediately through talks and dialogue.

In a press release issued today, Chief Minister Karki said that the shutdown of electricity supply to industries has directly affected production, employment, and the overall economy and urged both sides to return to the path of discussion and cooperation.

He said, "When industries are shut down, not only the economy but also the employment of thousands of families is in danger. The problem should be solved through talks and coordination."

Chief Minister Karki said that the vandalism and arson in private industries, supermarkets, factories,factories,s, and media outlets during the protests on Bhadra 23 and 24 have created an environment of fear and insecurity among investors.



According to him, such instability threatens to discourage both domestic and foreign investors.

Karki said that at a time when Nepal's economic problems are gradually increasing,gradually increasing, increasing, factories, disputes, and misunderstandings have had an adverse effect. "There are signs of improvement in the economy, but the atmosphere of controversy and distrust is weakening that effort," he said.
