Trilateral clash in NRNA America, Kharel, Sah for president, and Anup Khanal takes over as Adhikari general secretary

The voting process for selecting the new leadership of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) USA began on Sunday. About 13,000 members of the association will vote for their preferred candidates through ballots sent via email and mobile. This time, there will be a three-way competition between Bhanu Kharel, Satendra Sah, and Ramhari Adhikari for the post of president. All three candidates were intensifying the final phase of activities to woo voters before the election. The National Independent Party has demanded an answer from the House regarding the failure of those who attended an event in Spain attended by Prime Minister Oli to return.

 

Kathmandu, June 10. Rastriya Swatantra Party MP Sumana Shrestha has demanded an answer from the Prime Minister regarding the failure of Nepalis who went to attend a program in Spain attended by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to return.


Speaking at the Sunday meeting of the House of Representatives, MP Shrestha made this demand. She accused the Spanish case of giving political protection to human trafficking networks.


She also objected to the fact that the study report on visit visas prepared in Falgun 2078 BS has not yet been made public. She questioned where the report prepared in 2078 BS is currently stored.



She also demanded the formation of a parliamentary investigation committee or a high-level investigation commission to investigate the visit visa case. She reiterated the demand that Prime Minister Oli, who is also the Chairman of the Good Governance Commission, should provide an explanation about the Spain case.


She also demanded an impartial investigation into the audio recording of the Minister of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, which was also leaked.
