Mumbai. Rishab Shetty's upcoming film 'Kantara 2' is going to be as exciting as it is making history during the shooting. At the same time, it is facing setbacks.
There have been many accidents during the shooting of this film. So far, two people have died.
Another major accident has been reported. It is said that a boat capsized during the shooting of the film. The good thing is that no casualties have been reported in the accident so far.
According to the local police, the incident took place during the shooting of the film in the Mani reservoir in the Masti Katte area of Shivamogga district. The accident occurred in the shallow part of the reservoir, so a major accident was avoided.
It is said that the camera and a very expensive machine were submerged in the water. Actor and director Rishabh Shetty and 30 members of the crew survived safely.
Theater artist Ramdas Pujari told Indian media that making a film on Dakshina Kannada spirits is always risky because the spirits (ghosts) do not like the commercialization of any activity related to them.
The priest said that the spirit that worships Rishabh Shetty worshipped him and gave him permission to make the film. A senior crew member said that although some members of the crew panicked after the boat capsized, everyone disembarked safely as the boat was in shallow water. This suggests that the spirits have blessed us in some way.
An artist had also died on Saturday. On June 14, mimicry artist Kalabhavan Niju died of a heart attack during the shooting of the film ‘Kantara 2’.
Kalabhavan, 43, had suffered chest pain during the shooting of the film ‘Kantara 2’. In such a situation, he was rushed to the hospital but his life could not be saved.
Earlier, an artist had died during the shooting, and several artists had been injured when a bus carrying junior artists for the shoot overturned.
