The trailer of the Nepali film 'Riyal Ringgit', which is set to be released on August 1, has been released.
The trailer shows the various difficulties faced by Nepali youth in the process of forced foreign employment and the employment.
Director Vibhor Pokharel said about 'Riyal Ringgit', 'The film will closely portray the reality faced by Nepali youth who have gone for foreign employment and their lifestyle.'
The name of the film 'Riyal Ringgit' is symbolic in itself. 'Riyal' is the currency of Qatar and Saudi Arabia, while 'Ringgit' is the currency of Malaysia. The combination of these two names indicates the main destination countries for Nepali workers, from where millions of Nepalis are working to support their families and in search of a better future.
The film stars Pramod Chaulagain, Neeta Dhungana, Chulthim Dolma Gurung, Rabindra Khadka, Dhruv Koirala, Prem Subba, Ramchandra Adhikari, Rear Rai, Roshan Shrestha, Ishwori Baral, Bimala Giri, and other actors.
The film is written by Pradeep Bhardwaj, with action direction by Roshan Shrestha, cinematography by Hari Ghale, editing by Bipin Malla, background score by Kiran Tuladhar, and choreography by Rajiv Samar.
The film, which is produced by Gagan Lal, will be distributed in theaters across the country by Kaafia Films.
