The voting process for selecting the new leadership of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) USA began on Sunday. About 13,000 members of the association will vote for their preferred candidates through ballots sent via email and mobile. This time, there will be a three-way competition between Bhanu Kharel, Satendra Sah, and Ramhari Adhikari for the post of president. All three candidates were intensifying the final phase of activities to woo voters before the election. Due to the divisions, disputes, and internal dissatisfaction seen in the last term, this time the members have appeared more cautious in selecting the leadership. In states with a large number of voters, like California, New York, and Texas, members have expressed expectations for the new leadership. Along with the president, there is also competition for other positions, including vice president, general secretary, secretary, and others. All three candidates have entered the field with a pail. AHM Security and Consultancy's illegal business, Nepali workers trapped by human traffickers

Malaysia. It has been revealed that AHM Security and Consultancy in Malaysia has been involved in illegal business in collusion with some Nepali manpower. The company has been found to have started the process by applying for certification of the demand letters of 1,297 Nepali workers at the Nepali Embassy in Malaysia, contrary to the law.

The Nepali Embassy has not yet provided the company with the demand letter certification, saying that there is a problem with the demand letter requested by the company. Despite the lack of certification of the demand letter, AHM Security Consultancy has sold its company's demand letters to more than a dozen Nepali manpower and collected crores of rupees. Nepali manpower has also ignored the embassy's certification and submitted the documents of more than 500 workers to the company.

According to sources, the embassy has already obtained the documents, health check-ups and passports of Nepali workers from Nepali manpower without permission and has issued calling visas to more than 500 people. It does not seem possible for the company to legally bring Nepali workers to Malaysia. Nepali workers who have applied to AHM Security and Consultancy and obtained visas will be directly affected by this action. The workers coming to the company have already paid the money to the Nepali manpower and agents.

Despite the information that the embassy will pass the quota of three hundred people in the first phase, AHM Security and Consultancy has submitted an application to the embassy for a demand letter for 1,097 people in the name of more than a dozen Nepali manpower companies.

Sources said that Malaysian and Malaysian legal professionals have already filed a complaint against AHM Security and Consultancy, including the company's director, with the Malaysian police.

According to the source, it has signed legal and illegal documents with various people and made financial transactions. The source also claims that some middlemen in Nepal and Malaysia have manipulated this.

According to Krishna Prasad Bhusal, Labor Consul at the Nepali Embassy in Malaysia, AHM Security and Consultancy submitted the demand letter to the embassy for verification five months ago, but due to various reasons, the demand letter has not been verified yet.

AHM Security and Consultancy has already applied for verification of demand letters in the name of manpower companies in Nepal named Utsav HR Pvt. Ltd., Radiant Overseas Pvt. Ltd., Eminence Recruitment International Pvt. Ltd., Vigyan HR Management Pvt. Ltd., Trust International Overseas Pvt. Ltd., Anmol Overseas Pvt. Ltd., Aman Overseas Pvt. Ltd., Swift Gorkha International Pvt. Ltd., Happy Nepal Employment Pvt. Ltd., Sunrise H.R. Solution Pvt. Ltd. and Money Home Overseas Pvt. Ltd. a few months ago.

The source said that even though the company finally applied for certification of these 12 manpower at the embassy, AHM Security and Consultancy had already been selling and distributing the company's demand letter samples to more than two dozen other manpower using various agents. According to the Foreign Employment Act, the Nepali embassy must verify the demand letter after receiving it. After completing the verification process, pre-approval must be obtained from the Department of Foreign Employment. The advertisement for pre-approval is published in Nepal's national daily newspaper and the interview date is fixed. Only those workers who pass the medical examination of the selected workers in the interview are eligible to apply for a calling visa at the Malaysian immigration. However, AHM Security and Consultancy violated the rules and issued calling visas to more than 500 people.
