Preparations for ‘Kuma Sagar Live’ performance in full swing
Kathmandu. Preparations have been intensified for singer Kuma Sagar’s live performance scheduled in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). According to the organizers, ticket sales for the program are currently underway.
Bhim Malla Thakuri, Vice President and Program Coordinator of Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) UAE, informed that there has been an enthusiastic booking of tickets to watch Kuma Sagar’s performance and said that additional facilities have been provided to those who have VIP tickets. ‘Preparations for the program have been intensified now. Since you have family here, you can enjoy separate entertainment by taking VIP tickets,’ he said.
A large-scale musical program of singer Kuma Sagar and the popular Khwap band is going to be organized in Dubai for the first time on July 20 (Shrawan 4).
Thakuri says that this program is being organized under the third edition of Gorkha Sanjh keeping in mind the musical taste of the Nepali community. The program is expected to quench the thirst of Nepali expatriates for live Nepali music.
The program to be organized at Al Nasr Club in Dubai will run from 1 pm to 8 pm, and the program will feature a blend of Nepali musical colors, melodies, and patriotism, says Thakuri.
The entry fee for the program is 50 dirhams, and the audience will get to enjoy a live musical experience.
Singer Kumar Sagar is known for his 'Deshpremi' and 'Passionate' songs, while the Khwap band has made a separate identity through music that reflects the originality of Nepal in the last decade. It is believed that the program will be more exciting as both of them will be seen on the same stage for the first time in Dubai.
Gorkha Sanjh has been organizing various cultural programs in the UAE before. Organizer Thakuri said, "This is not just a concert, but an opportunity to showcase our identity, spirit and unity." The title sponsor of the event is Mount Everest Supermarket, while other supporting organizations are also continuing to support the event to make it grand, Thakuri said. Thakuri said that this time the event will be even grander as there are so many people supporting the event.
