Kathmandu City Police Chief Raju Pandey suspended


Kathmandu Metropolitan City Police Chief Rajunath Pandey has been suspended.

On Tuesday, Chief Administrative Officer Saroj Guragain suspended Pandey and assigned the responsibility of the city police chief to the city police superintendent Bishnu Joshi for six months.

'The suspension was made after he did not receive a satisfactory answer,' he said, 'Bishnu Joshi has been given the new responsibility.'
