South Indian actor Ajith Kumar has been injured.  


He was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai after sustaining an injury to his leg. According to Indian media outlet India Today, a stampede by fans at Chennai Airport on Tuesday caused a minor injury to his leg.  


Ajith had returned to Chennai from New Delhi after being honored with the Padma Bhushan.  


Recently, Ajith appeared in the film Good Bad, directed by Ravichandran. The movie was released in theaters on April 10. Although Ajith keeps his distance from the media, his fans continue to adore him deeply.
