  Kathmandu. The third edition of the provincial-level franchise competition, Koshi Pride League (KPL), organized by Koshi Pride Pvt. Ltd., is scheduled to be held from Falgun 9 to 21. Stating that it will be held ‘with the encouragement of the Nepal Cricket Association (CAN), CAN Secretary Paras Khadka, and the Koshi Province Cricket Association,’ KPL Director Afzal Hossain informed a press conference held in Kathmandu on Sunday that seven franchise teams will participate in the competition. Kathmandu The Embassy of Pakistan in Kathmandu observed Youm-e-Tashakur today, 24 May. Ambassador of Pakistan H.E. Abrar H Hashmi raised national flag in a dignified ceremony. Embassy officials, members of the Pakistani community, their families, and friends gathered to reflect on the resolute, befitting response of Pakistan’s Armed Forces.


Special prayers were offered for the Shuhada of the Maraka-e-Haq (both military personnel and civilians) along with prayers for the swift recovery of the wounded, and for the continued peace, progress, and prosperity of Pakistan.

In his remarks, Ambassador of Pakistan H.E. Abrar H Hashmi said, “Today we bow in gratitude to Almighty Allah, paid tribute to the resilient people and armed forces of Pakistan for their unwavering faith, unity, and determination displayed yet again in the face of recent Indian aggression.” Embassy officials, members of the Pakistani community, their families, and friends have gathered to reflect on the resolute, befitting response of Pakistan’s Armed Forces. He said, “Amidst bright smiles of all of us in attendance, we celebrate Pakistan’s success across all fronts.





We resolve to defend its sovereignty against any aggression in the future as well.” Ambassador Hashmi also highlighted the support of friends of Pakistan and role played by the international community for peace and stability in the region. He also thanked friends and Government of Nepal.
