The voting process for selecting the new leadership of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) USA began on Sunday. About 13,000 members of the association will vote for their preferred candidates through ballots sent via email and mobile. This time, there will be a three-way competition between Bhanu Kharel, Satendra Sah, and Ramhari Adhikari for the post of president. All three candidates were intensifying the final phase of activities to woo voters before the election. Due to the divisions, disputes, and internal dissatisfaction seen in the last term, this time the members have appeared more cautious in selecting the leadership. Actress Barsha Siwakoti has been signed for 'Maharajdhiraj'.



Actress Barsha Siwakoti Signs On for Upcoming Film 'Maharajdhiraj'


Actress Barsha Siwakoti has been cast in the upcoming film Maharajdhiraj, which is currently in pre-production.


The production team finalized the contract with Barsha on Thursday for her role in the film. Earlier, actors Aaryan Sigdel, Ramesh Upreti, and Pal Shah had already been signed for the project.


The production team has also revealed that Jay Kishan Basnet will appear in a significant role. Maharajdhiraj will be written and directed by Parichchhet Sen, who previously received critical acclaim for his film Premganj.


The film is presented by Biraj Bista, who previously produced the National Award-winning film Bulaki. The producers include Topendra Bista, Chakrabahadur K.C., and Ravi Khadka.


The movie's poster has already been released, and Maharajdhiraj is set to hit theaters during Phoolpati (Dashain season).
