The inclap of 'wrestling' in 39 days.

Kathmandu, April 10 (translated from Chaitra 27).

The "inclap" (wrap-up) of the film "Kustee" (Wrestling), which was being shot in and around

Kathmandu, has been completed. On the 39th day of shooting, all scenes except the songs were finished, and the film was officially wrapped up, as informed by producer and director Anil Yongjan.

Director Yongjan shared that the movie portrays the struggles of a couple who, despite being in love, face difficulties living together due to their contrasting personalities.

He said, "‘Kustee’ is a sweet journey of emotions—about two people who can neither live apart nor stay together peacefully. This film is an emotional yet comedy-filled love story, a romantic comedy-drama."

Yongjan credited the timely completion of the shoot to the hard work and skills of the actors and technical team involved.

The film, which had already gained attention due to its public theme poster, features actors Dheeraj Magar, Miruna Magar, Pushkar Gurung, Luniva Tuladhar, Bhola Raj Sapkota, Dikila Sherpa, Ravindra Jha, Rajaram Paudel, Kiran KC, Suryaman Limbu, Arbin Gurung, Rajani Gurung, Suvarana Thapa, among others.

Notably, Dikila Sherpa, who gained fame from MTV India’s reality show Splitsvilla Season 5, makes her debut in Nepali cinema with this film.

"Since the story is based in the city, we shot in and around Kathmandu. We have worked hard to meet the audience’s expectations from the on-screen pairing of Dheeraj and Miruna," said Yongjan.

He also revealed that international distributors have already shown interest in acquiring the film’s screening rights, and negotiations are in the final stages for release in several countries. Nepali audiences, including the diaspora, are excited to see Dheeraj and Miruna together on screen again.

The film’s crew includes Umang Shahi (cinematography), Mitradev Gurung (editing), Deepak Sharma, Anil Yongjan, and Kalyan Singh (music), and Shishir Khati (choreography). OSR Digital is the digital partner, while the styling is done by Dress IIFT (for Dheeraj and Miruna) and Bomi Rai.

Produced by Kathmandu Reach Entertainment and Apple Entertainment, with distribution by Mofasal FD Company, the film is set to release in Bhadra 2082 BS (August/September 2025).
