  Kathmandu. The third edition of the provincial-level franchise competition, Koshi Pride League (KPL), organized by Koshi Pride Pvt. Ltd., is scheduled to be held from Falgun 9 to 21. Stating that it will be held ‘with the encouragement of the Nepal Cricket Association (CAN), CAN Secretary Paras Khadka, and the Koshi Province Cricket Association,’ KPL Director Afzal Hossain informed a press conference held in Kathmandu on Sunday that seven franchise teams will participate in the competition. According to Hossain, Namuna Blasters, Itahari Adarsh ​​Giants, Birtamod Hits, Purveli Super Kings, Everest Thunders, BN Koshi Arnas, and Gorkha Avengers will participate in the competition. Hossain also revealed the names of the owners of all seven franchise teams at the press conference. Change in the show date of Ashok Sharma's 'Double Triple'"



Kathmandu. The release date of the film 'Double Triple', directed by Ashok Sharma, has been changed. Previously scheduled for release during Fulpati (the seventh day of Dashain), the film will now hit theaters on Falgun 1 (mid-February) to coincide with Valentine’s Day. Director Sharma announced the new release date in a Facebook post on the eve of the Nepali New Year 2082.  


In his post, Sharma wrote, "Since many films are releasing during Dashain, we tried to coordinate with other producers for a safe and balanced release. However, no one was willing to adjust even slightly. Therefore, 'Double Triple' will now release on Falgun 1, 2082."


The film stars Dayahang Rai, Khagendra Lamichhane, Miruna Magar, Keki Adhikari, Rajaram Paudel, Uday Subba, Wilson Bikram Rai, Maotse Gurung, Buddhi Tamang, Ramprasad Khanal, and Suravir Pandit. The story and screenplay were written by director Sharma in collaboration with Rajesh Sitoula.  


The film features Shambhujit Baskota’s music, Shan Basnyat’s dialogues, Alok Shukla’s cinematography, Raju Kiranti’s action sequences, and Sunil Kshetri’s choreography. The producers are Kiran Sharma Paudyal, Kriti Sharma, and Ankit Sharma.
