  Kathmandu. The third edition of the provincial-level franchise competition, Koshi Pride League (KPL), organized by Koshi Pride Pvt. Ltd., is scheduled to be held from Falgun 9 to 21. Stating that it will be held ‘with the encouragement of the Nepal Cricket Association (CAN), CAN Secretary Paras Khadka, and the Koshi Province Cricket Association,’ KPL Director Afzal Hossain informed a press conference held in Kathmandu on Sunday that seven franchise teams will participate in the competition. According to Hossain, Namuna Blasters, Itahari Adarsh ​​Giants, Birtamod Hits, Purveli Super Kings, Everest Thunders, BN Koshi Arnas, and Gorkha Avengers will participate in the competition. Hossain also revealed the names of the owners of all seven franchise teams at the press conference. The song "Pagal" (Mad) from "Karma" in Sushant KC's voice has been released.



Kathmandu – The song from the movie Karma, directed by Saurabh Chaudhary, has been released. The romantic track, titled Pagal (Mad), features the voice of popular singer Sushant KC. The lyrics and music of the song are also by KC himself. The song was released through Sushant KC’s official YouTube channel.  


The video portrays the moment when actor Bipin Karki goes mad with love for actress Upasana Singh Thakuri. The lyrics and melody of the song carry Sushant KC’s signature style, and the production team is confident that the youth will love it. Sushant has beautifully captured the depth of love seen in each other’s eyes through this song.  


A short clip shared on Facebook reels and shorts had already won the hearts of viewers. Sushant KC has crafted a song that resonates with today’s youth. This is the first time he has sung for a movie, despite receiving many offers in the past. Earlier, Sushant had mentioned on social media that this was his first song for a film and expressed excitement about its upcoming release.  



The video features the lead actors, Bipin and Upasana, along with Sushant KC himself. The movie Karma is set to release on Chaitra 29 (mid-April) after being postponed from the Nepali New Year 2082. It will be released simultaneously in Nepal and abroad. The international distribution rights of Karma have been acquired by Seven C’s Cinema.  



Karma stars Bipin Karki, Upasana Singh Thakuri, along with Mukun Bhusal, Dibyadeb, Sarita Giri, Ben Basnet, Sujyan Silwal, Anil Budhathoki, Nirmal Sharma, and others. Produced by Action Janama, Karma is a drama, suspense, and action-packed film. The story and direction are by Saurabh Chaudhary.  


The film features Bhaskar Swar’s music direction, Kabiraj Gahatraj’s choreography, Shri Shrestha’s action direction, Nimesh Shrestha’s editing, Taranath Neupane as the chief assistant director, Sameer Miya handling VFX, Uttam Neupane’s background score, Shahil Khan’s teaser-trailer production, Vijay Basyal’s publicity design, and Rajendra Moktan as the colorist.  


Presented by Artistic Entertainment, Karma is produced with investment from Vasanta Lamsal. Director Chaudhary’s previous film, Agastya: Chapter 1, received positive responses from audiences and critics, raising expectations for Karma as well.
