Suspense-Thriller Nepali Film Trailer of Yasto Suraksha Pant's 'Khel'" Released




The trailer for the upcoming Nepali suspense-thriller film 'Khel' has been unveiled. On Sunday, OSR Digital's YouTube channel released the official trailer, featuring actors Suraksha Pant, Monika Thapa, Hena Nagarkoti, Nikita Acharya, Samapika Gautam, Mithila Sharma, Sarita Giri, and Bhola Raj Sapkota.  


The trailer shows a teacher educating students about the history of Kathmandu, while themes of superstition, disease outbreaks, and black magic emerge. Scenes include ancient artifacts, inscriptions, and a mix of friendship and misunderstandings among a group of friends. They are seen playing Ludo and other games. Actress Suraksha Pant's eerie behavior, Hena Nagarkoti's attempts to unravel a mystery, and the contrasting actions of Monika Thapa and Samapika Gautam add suspense and fear to the film.  


Scheduled for release on Baisakh 12, the film blends Nepali folklore, tradition, spirituality, thriller, and suspense. The story revolves around friends living in a Kathmandu hostel for studies, haunted by a terrifying past. The trailer hints at mysterious events in their lives and the challenges they must confront.  


'Khel' is co-directed by Anurag Pradhan and Aastha Shrestha, produced under Sirupate Cuts Pvt. Ltd. The producers are Luisraj Maharjan and Aashishraj Maharjan, with co-producers Kunalraj Gurung and Rahishraj Maharjan. The story is written by Aashishraj Maharjan, while the screenplay is crafted by Abhitendra and Anurag Pradhan.  


Cinematography is handled by Roshan Rai and Sanjay Lama, with editing by Aashishraj Maharjan. Other crew members include:
