Trilateral clash in NRNA America, Kharel, Sah for president, and Anup Khanal takes over as Adhikari general secretary

The voting process for selecting the new leadership of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) USA began on Sunday. About 13,000 members of the association will vote for their preferred candidates through ballots sent via email and mobile. This time, there will be a three-way competition between Bhanu Kharel, Satendra Sah, and Ramhari Adhikari for the post of president. All three candidates were intensifying the final phase of activities to woo voters before the election. Due to the divisions, disputes, and internal dissatisfaction seen in the last term, this time the members have appeared more cautious in selecting the leadership. "Cultural Performance, Respect, and Musical Evening in Malaysia on March 30"

 "Cultural Performance, Respect, and Musical Evening on March 30 at Hotel Grand Continental"



A special event titled "Cultural Performance, Respect, and Musical Evening" will be held on Sunday, March 30 (Chaitra 17) at Hotel Grand Continental. The program is being organized by Milap Monthly and Milap News, under the coordination of Ramji Bagale, Editor and Chairman of Janasawal National Daily and Janasawal Television.

Geeta Adhikari, Executive Editor of Milap, informed that the event will be hosted under the hospitality of the Nepali Embassy in Malaysia, NRN Association, and other prominent organizations. The program will feature performances by more than a dozen artists from Nepal as well as local Malaysian artists.

Krishna Bhusal, Chairman of Milap, shared that the entry to the event is free, and it will begin at 6:00 PM. Dance director Krishna Rasal and singer Ramesh Pathak confirmed that all preparations for the grand musical performances are complete.  

The organizers have stated that a significant participation of Nepalis living in Malaysia is expected at the event.
