Kathmandu, On the occasion of Crow Tihar, artist Ramesh Dulal "Kage" has successfully concluded the 22nd Crow Conference in front of the Narayanhiti Gate of the capital.
Dulal attracted thousands of crows by presenting his special art at the program co-organized by Top Rajdhani Rodhi and Green City Hospital, Basundhara. The program, which started at 6:45 am, attracted thousands of crows by descending from the sky as soon as he made the sound of a crow.
Dulal can imitate the sounds of 173 types of animals and birds, including crows, so far. In addition, he can also perform the melodies of madal, sanai, sarangi, piano, drum set, murchunga, and guitar with the help of his mouth.
According to him, in the past years, he has sometimes held 'Crow Conferences' at Shanti Batika in Ratna Park, at the airport premises, and sometimes with social messages.
Dulal said, “It has been 22 years since I started organizing the Crow Conference on the day of Kaag Tihar. The crow is considered the messenger of Yamaraj. This time, I have organized this conference with a purely cultural purpose.”
The audience present appreciated Dulal’s program to preserve the tradition of celebrating Kaag Tihar in both religious and cultural meanings and to raise public awareness, and they talked about Dulal, who is rich in multi-talents.
