New working committee formed for Optimist Club of Dairy Entrepreneurs, Sanjel elected as president and Ojha as secretary

Kathmandu, Mangsir 11. The induction ceremony of the Optimist Club of Dairy Entrepreneurs has been held at the Assembly Hall of the Nepal Dairy Association, Shankhamul. The program was chaired by the club's president, Prahlad Dahal, and the governor of Optimist International Asia District, Pratap Bahadur Thapa, was the chief guest, and the secretary, Vijay Satyal, was the special guest.
Addressing the program on the occasion, Optimist Club of Dairy Entrepreneurs President Prahlad Dahal said that the programs organized by the club for the development of dairy business and entrepreneurship would be further expanded and strengthened in the coming days. He expressed his commitment to remain active in solving problems in the dairy sector, expanding knowledge, developing business capacity, and strengthening cooperation among entrepreneurs. President Dahal expressed his confidence that the new working committee will be competent, committed, and result-oriented.
The new leadership formally handed over responsibility at the program attended by club members, stakeholders, and guests.
During the program, Ramesh Sanjel was formally installed as the charter president, Chetnath Dahal as the vice president, Saroj Ojha as the secretary, Ram Bhakta Dahal as the treasurer, and Tika Prasad Ghimire, Dinesh Sanjel, Suresh Timalsina, Huddharaj Timalsina, Deepak Timalsina, Deepak Sanjel, Chetnath Dahal, Bhim Prasad Dahal, Deep Prasad Dhamala, Yank Prasad Ghimire, Shiva Ghimire, Subash Dulal, Sandeep Ghimire, Pitambari Khatiwada, and Madhav Siwakoti were formally installed as members.
Chief guest Governor Pratap Bahadur Thapa stated that the dairy industry is an important foundation of Nepal's agriculture-based economy and opined that entrepreneurs should focus on modern technology, quality improvement, and market expansion. He praised the positive role played by the Optimist structure in instilling a culture of leadership development, service spirit, and positive change among entrepreneurs and suggested that the club should increase its recognition at the international level. He also said that Optimist International Asia District is moving forward under the leadership of Nepal and discussed that it is a matter of pride.
Special guest Vijay Satyal mentioned that Optimist International Asia District has been conducting various programs for community development, leadership training, social responsibility, and entrepreneurship promotion. He said that the Dairy Entrepreneurs Club has demonstrated efficiency in the short time since its formation and expressed the hope that it will play an active role in dairy sector-friendly projects, seminars, and sustainable enterprise promotion in the coming days.
Meanwhile, the newly elected Charter President Ramesh Sanjel expressed his commitment through the program and promised to be especially active in programs focused on the real needs of dairy entrepreneurs, skill development training, collaboration in market promotion, and strengthening unity among members. He said that the club would be established as an exemplary organization at the provincial and national levels through new working committee coordination, transparency, and a result-oriented working style.
