  Kathmandu, April 1  – Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today departed for Thailand on an official visit, where he will also participate in the  BIMSTEC Summit . The Prime Minister left for  Bangkok, Thailand's capital , at 1 PM today. This marks the  first official visit by a Nepali Prime Minister to Thailand  in  65 years  since diplomatic relations were established. PM Oli emphasized the significance of this visit, noting that Bangkok—a key "gateway" for Nepal's engagement with non-neighboring countries—had not received such high-level engagement until now.
