Kathmandu – The Qatari government has decided to grant amnesty to 18 Nepali prisoners on the occasion of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a press release on Monday to inform about this decision. The ministry expressed gratitude towards the Qatari government for this move.   The ministry described the decision as a goodwill gesture based on humanitarian grounds and expressed confidence that it would further strengthen Nepal-Qatar bilateral relations. The Nepali government had made a request for amnesty through the Nepali Embassy in Doha, which was accepted by the Qatari government.

  Kathmandu – The poster for the movie “Narsingha: Avatar” has been unveiled, announcing its release date for the upcoming year on Jestha 9 (May 22, 2025). The poster was revealed at an event held at Global College in Kathmandu, attended by over 500 students.   Rakesh Dahal designed the film's posters, featuring actor Hamal in one poster and actor Raj Katwal in another.
