Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) President Mahesh Shrestha has said that the Badri KC-led working committee's attempt to hold a general convention while the case is pending in the Supreme Court is a clear disobedience to the court's order. According to Shrestha, the order to present the issue of whether Badri KC's working committee will work or not until 2082 Kartik 4 (October 21, 2025) to the full bench of the Supreme Court was given by a joint bench of Justice Bal Krishna Dhakal and Justice Abdul Aziz Musalman in the Supreme Court on Baisakh 23. According to the order, the case is still pending and the verdict of the full bench has not been delivered.
