  Hyderabad, 22 Chaitra. After Rishab Shetty's film 'Kantara' achieved unprecedented success at the box office, preparations are now underway for the release of its prequel. Some time ago, news went viral on social media that Rishab Shetty's 'Kantara: Chapter 2' had been postponed. However, the producers have confirmed in an unusual manner that 'Kantara Chapter 1' has not been postponed and have also announced the film's release date. According to them, 'Kantara Chapter–1' will be released in theaters on October 2 of this year.
