But Sharmin has not officially confirmed it. She married Aman Mehta two years ago. Aman Mehta is the executive producer of Torrent Pharmaceuticals. After marriage, Sharmin lived in Ahmedabad. But she is currently living in Mumbai. Sharmin started her career as an assistant director with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She worked as an assistant director in films like 'Goliyonki Raasleela Ram-Leela', 'Mary Kom', 'Bajirao Mastani' and 'Gangubai Kathiawadi'. She made her acting debut in 2019 with the film 'Malal', produced by Bhansali Productions. She then acted in the horror comedy film 'Atithi Bhooto Bhava' and the web series 'Heera: The Diamond Bazaar'.
