Narayan, a social worker, was recommended for member-secretary of the Pashupati Development Fund.

Kathmandu. The name of Narayan Bhandari, a "social worker," has been recommended for the post of Member-Secretary of the Pashupati Development Fund. The recently held meeting concluded that the management of the organization and fund operation should be made more effective and recommended Bhandari's name as the top priority.

The leaders of the movement themselves initiated the appointment of Bhandari, who actively participated in the JNG movement, to the post. Although other names were also recommended alongside him, Bhandari has emerged as the top choice.

After being appointed as the Member-Secretary, he will be responsible for coordinating the policy, financial, and administrative work of the fund; preparing and ensuring the implementation of the committee meeting agenda; conducting transparent financial management; and submitting necessary reports to the committee.

While in Qatar, he had spent a successful tenure in various positions in the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Qatar. While there, he played an active role in uniting the Nepali community, conducting social and cultural activities, and protecting labor rights. For this reason, Bhandari is seen as a "promising young social worker."

Responding to the recommendation, Bhandari has expressed his resolve to transform the Pashupati Development Fund into a model institution through transparent management, use of modern technology, conservation of religious and cultural heritage, and expansion of pilgrim-friendly facilities if he is given the responsibility. He said that more tourists can be brought in through Pashupati.

Since the fund's role is important in establishing the Pashupati region as a world-class religious and cultural center, the recommendation of Bhandari's name is being viewed positively at various levels.
