'Sange Darpan' book review and discussion program concluded


Kathmandu. The Sange Civilization Preservation and Development Campaign has concluded the ‘Sange Darpan’ book review and discussion program on Sunday, August 25, at the South Western College in Basundhara, the capital.



Former Secretary to the Government of Nepal Purushottam Ojha, who was present as the chief guest at the program, stated that the Sange Darpan book is an important work that presents the entire history of Sange and expressed the view that it should be considered as a profound and valuable historical document. He also emphasized that such programs should be continued and the campaign should be taken forward more vigorously.


While reviewing the book, speakers including agricultural expert Dipendra Keshari Neupane, former Shyamgha VDC President Kiran Bhandari, former Deputy Secretary Damodar Bhandari, Vice President of Sange Kathmandu Sampark Samaj Ranjana Pokharel Wagle, stated that the Sange Darpan book is historical evidence of Sange civilization and emphasized that all stakeholders should support and cooperate with this campaign.


Campaign coordinator Surendra Wagle said that the book review and discussion program was organized as part of the campaign to protect and promote the social, cultural and historical values of the Sange region and expressed his commitment to bring more effective programs in the future.


Similarly, campaign general secretary Saroj Ojha informed that the program was organized with the objective of reviewing the Sange Darpan book as well as setting future directions and strategies for the civilization, culture and overall development of the Sange region.


At the program, Hariraj Wagle, financial coordinator of the book publication committee, presented the financial details. Senior members, former SSP Hariraj Wagle and Balwati Sharma (Bala), called on everyone to come together and contribute to make the campaign more effective by further discussing in the coming days.


Certificates and books were distributed to ordinary and life members on this occasion. There was a significant participation of intellectuals and stakeholders in the program.
