3 killed in microbus accident on way to Pokhara from Kathmandu


Three people died when a microbus (G 1 Ja 8630) coming from Kathmandu to Pokhara met with an accident on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as 51-year-old Dhangmaya Gurung of Pokhara-25 Hemja, while the other two are yet to be identified, informed Kaski Police Information Officer DSP Hari Bahadur Basnet. Out of the 11 people on board the microbus, 3 have been discharged after receiving general treatment, while 5 are undergoing treatment at the Pokhara Institute of Health Sciences. The microbus fell off the road in Lameahal, Pokhara, according to the police.

RPP-Prachanda incites cadres to incite violence over Kamaladi incident

Kathmandu. The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has expressed regret that Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda incited his cadres to incite violence in the incident of Jestha 19. A face-off took place between the YCL and the royalists at a program organized at the Kamaladi Ganesh Temple in honor and memory of King Birendra and the late royal family. Spokesperson Mohan Shrestha informed that Prachanda incited his cadres in the incident and it has been decided to protest if such incidents continue. The RPP will strongly protest in the coming days if such actions continue, the statement issued after the meeting stated. Similarly, the meeting stated that attention has been drawn to the dissemination of news that is ineffective and misleading its movement.
