"The global collection of 'Chhava'has crossed 800 crores (8 billion INR / ~$96 million USD).

Mumbai, April 4 – Chhavaa, the period drama starring Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna, and Akshay Khanna, is now showing signs of fatigue after a 48-day long theatrical run. Despite being an all-time blockbuster at the box office, the film's earnings saw a further decline on Wednesday.

Though the movie has been doing business worth lakhs over the past three days, it is now struggling to maintain momentum. Domestically, it is just ₹5 crore short of crossing the ₹600 crore mark, but globally, it has already surpassed ₹800 crore in earnings.

Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhavaa’s success is nothing short of magical. The film has built a mountain of earnings, particularly dominating the Maharashtra mass circuit. Made on a budget of ₹130 crore, Chhavaa has collected a net total of ₹595.30 crore in Hindi and Telugu versions across India in 48 days.

However, it has not yet surpassed Stree 2 (₹597.99 crore) to become the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time. In the Hindi version alone, Chhavaa has earned ₹579.43 crore so far.

Box Office Breakdown (Latest Updates)

- Day 48 (Wednesday): Collected ₹41 lakhs nationwide (₹40 lakhs from Hindi, ₹1 lakh from Telugu).

- Day 47 (Tuesday): ₹54 lakhs.

- Day 46 (Monday): ₹89 lakhs.

While Chhavaa is gradually losing its grip at the domestic box office, it has already crossed the ₹800 crore milestone worldwide. Interestingly, the film has earned only ₹91.20 crore from overseas markets, indicating that the majority of its success comes from Indian audiences.
