  Kathmandu. The third edition of the provincial-level franchise competition, Koshi Pride League (KPL), organized by Koshi Pride Pvt. Ltd., is scheduled to be held from Falgun 9 to 21. Stating that it will be held ‘with the encouragement of the Nepal Cricket Association (CAN), CAN Secretary Paras Khadka, and the Koshi Province Cricket Association,’ KPL Director Afzal Hossain informed a press conference held in Kathmandu on Sunday that seven franchise teams will participate in the competition. According to Hossain, Namuna Blasters, Itahari Adarsh ​​Giants, Birtamod Hits, Purveli Super Kings, Everest Thunders, BN Koshi Arnas, and Gorkha Avengers will participate in the competition. Rape and Sexual Assault Case Filed Against British Actor and Comedian Russell Brand


According to the News World, the London Metropolitan Police have informed Russell Brand via letter that a case has been registered against him. He has been asked to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on May 2.



Four different women have accused Russell Brand of sexual assault, with the alleged incidents occurring between 1999 and 2005.


In September 2023, serious allegations were made against Brand in an investigative documentary series titled Dispatches by The Sunday Times, The Times, and Channel 4. Following this, police questioned Russell Brand multiple times. However, the 50-year-old actor has denied all accusations.


Russell Brand married international star Katy Perry in 2010, but they divorced just two years later. He then married author Laura Brand in 2017.
