  Kathmandu. The third edition of the provincial-level franchise competition, Koshi Pride League (KPL), organized by Koshi Pride Pvt. Ltd., is scheduled to be held from Falgun 9 to 21. Stating that it will be held ‘with the encouragement of the Nepal Cricket Association (CAN), CAN Secretary Paras Khadka, and the Koshi Province Cricket Association,’ KPL Director Afzal Hossain informed a press conference held in Kathmandu on Sunday that seven franchise teams will participate in the competition. According to Hossain, Namuna Blasters, Itahari Adarsh ​​Giants, Birtamod Hits, Purveli Super Kings, Everest Thunders, BN Koshi Arnas, and Gorkha Avengers will participate in the competition. Kathmandu: Ishwar Sapkota, the successful businessman and president of Aksan International Pvt. Ltd., with extensive experience in the foreign employment sector, has announced his independent candidacy for the position of Secretary in the upcoming election of the Nepal Foreign Employment Entrepreneurs' Association.  


Sapkota, a capable and independent businessman, declared his candidacy to advocate for the rights and interests of entrepreneurs in the sector. He stated that he decided to run for the Secretary position because those currently in leadership have failed to adequately address business concerns. He emphasized that competent and independent entrepreneurs should lead the association.  


Carrying the vision of making foreign employment more respectable, dignified, and systematic, Sapkota expressed his commitment to lead the association effectively. His announcement has been welcomed by independent entrepreneurs and others dissatisfied with the current leadership alignment.


 


If elected, Sapkota pledged to:  

- Systematize and regulate the foreign employment sector,  

- Explore new attractive labor destinations,  

- Organize job fairs in Japan,  

- Promote institutionalized foreign employment, and  

- Support independent entrepreneurs with high respect.  


With 17 years of experience in the foreign employment business, Sapkota has been sending Nepali workers to safe destinations. Through his company, Aksan International, he has provided free Japanese language training and successfully sent around 2,000 Nepalis to Japan.  


Sapkota, who believes that manpower entrepreneurs should have their own administrative building, has also contributed financially to acquire such a facility. Independent entrepreneurs are now actively supporting his candidacy.  


So far, apart from Sapkota, Anil Bogati and Kuncha Dorje Dimdhong have also filed their candidacies for the Secretary position.
