In his message, Asif Ali Zardari, President of Pakistan, reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). He condemned India’s attempts to alter the region’s demographic and political landscape through measures like gerrymandering, mass detentions, and silencing of media. In light of recent Indian aggression, he stressed that resolving the Kashmir dispute in accordance with UN Security Council resolutions is vital for lasting peace in South Asia, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to political, moral, and diplomatic support for Kashmiris.

In his message, Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that Pakistan stands firmly with the Kashmiri people and condemns India’s illegal actions since 5 August 2019 to change the status of IIOJK.
