Rural Municipality has made public its budget with policies and programs for the fiscal year 2082/83. The budget was presented by the rural municipality chairperson Buchung Tamang at the eighteenth session of the second village assembly held on Saturday.

While presenting the policies and programs, Chairman Tamang said that the rural municipality will prioritize infrastructure development, education, health, agriculture, tourism, sustainable environmental protection and disaster management in the coming year.


“It is necessary to move forward in a planned manner for the overall development of the rural municipality,” said Chairman Tamang, “Programs that will improve the living standards of the people by making maximum use of local resources and means have been prioritized.”

He also clarified that the goal is to implement programs that will directly benefit the people in the coming year and to strengthen an inclusive and accountable local governance system.

It is said that the budget and programs presented in the village assembly will be passed after discussion.
