  Kathmandu. The third edition of the provincial-level franchise competition, Koshi Pride League (KPL), organized by Koshi Pride Pvt. Ltd., is scheduled to be held from Falgun 9 to 21. Stating that it will be held ‘with the encouragement of the Nepal Cricket Association (CAN), CAN Secretary Paras Khadka, and the Koshi Province Cricket Association,’ KPL Director Afzal Hossain informed a press conference held in Kathmandu on Sunday that seven franchise teams will participate in the competition. According to Hossain, Namuna Blasters, Itahari Adarsh ​​Giants, Birtamod Hits, Purveli Super Kings, Everest Thunders, BN Koshi Arnas, and Gorkha Avengers will participate in the competition. Hossain also revealed the names of the owners of all seven franchise teams at the press conference. Lalitpur. In a grand honor program organized by the Newasadhana Art Center, for the first time in a continuous 55-year-long art journey, the Lifetime Achievement Award (2082) along with the Maharathi Vibhushan and a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 has been presented to actor and director Pawan Joshi. 

The cash prize of Rs. 50,000 received by Joshi was handed over to the organizer, Bagmati Bhai, the chairman of the Newasadhana Art Center, for further exemplary work by Pawan Joshi. 

In addition, the Nagarpita Samman was presented to the Mayor of Lalitpur Metropolitan City, Chiribabu Maharjan, at the same ceremony. Similarly, the Newa Tara Samman was given to Nepali Noble litterateur Bikram Bhakta Joshi, and the Newa Surya Samman was given to the ward government chief of Ward No. 18, Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Nhuchekaji Maharjan.
