Upper Tamakoshi incurs a loss of Rs. 2.6 billion

Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Limited has incurred a loss of Rs 2.6 billion till the third quarter of the current fiscal year. The company had incurred a loss of Rs 1.39 billion during the same period of the last fiscal year. The company's losses have increased further due to the decrease in electricity sales income.
During this period, the company has earned Rs 4.27 billion from electricity sales. Last year, it earned Rs 6.53 billion. Similarly, the company's financial expenses are Rs 4.6 billion. The company's reserve fund, which has a paid-up capital of Rs 21.18 billion, is negative by Rs 12.18 billion.
According to the details made public by the company, the company's earnings per share are at a loss of Rs 9.76 paisa, while the net worth per share is Rs 46.79 paisa.
