  Kathmandu - Under the special initiative of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) and former student Jeevan Tamang Si, the Nepal Masland and Educational Materials Industry Association has organized an educational materials distribution program at Mangal Devi Secondary School located in Chaap, Suryagadhi Village Ward No. 1, Nuwakot district, and distributed educational materials and sports materials to 250 student brothers and sisters. The program was presided over by the Chairman of the School Management Committee, Dinesh Tamang. The chief guest, the central president of the association, Bijendra Bikram Shah, said that the association has been distributing educational materials in various districts of the country on the occasion of its foundation day and in the same vein, educational materials were also distributed to Mangal Devi Secondary School on the occasion of its 36th day. "The Second Creative International Music Award — 2025 announces the top five online nominees (with list) in 22 categories to the public."



Kathmandu. Active Music Pvt. Ltd., which has been organizing various events over the years, has announced the continuation of its Creative International Music Awards initiative this year as well. The company is moving forward with preparations for the 2nd Creative International Music Awards — 2025, following its successful launch last year.  


This year, Active Music Pvt. Ltd. will announce the top five nominees in 22 categories selected from the applicants, and the announcement will be made online.


According to Birendra Naubage, the company’s Managing Director, considering the evolving global scenario, the decision was made to shift the event’s modality from physical to online for greater impact and accessibility.

NRNA hands over Kathmandu Traffic Control Room at a cost of Rs 754,000

The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) has formally handed over the state-of-the-art Traffic Control Room built at the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Division, Ramshahpath, to the Nepal Police today. The program was jointly inaugurated by the Valley Police Chief, Additional Inspector General of Police (AIG) Dan Bahadur Karki and NRNA President Mahesh Kumar Shrestha.
