  Kathmandu. The third edition of the provincial-level franchise competition, Koshi Pride League (KPL), organized by Koshi Pride Pvt. Ltd., is scheduled to be held from Falgun 9 to 21. Stating that it will be held ‘with the encouragement of the Nepal Cricket Association (CAN), CAN Secretary Paras Khadka, and the Koshi Province Cricket Association,’ KPL Director Afzal Hossain informed a press conference held in Kathmandu on Sunday that seven franchise teams will participate in the competition. According to Hossain, Namuna Blasters, Itahari Adarsh ​​Giants, Birtamod Hits, Purveli Super Kings, Everest Thunders, BN Koshi Arnas, and Gorkha Avengers will participate in the competition. Hossain also revealed the names of the owners of all seven franchise teams at the press conference. Release date of the film “Sitamol” announced, poster unveiled



Kathmandu – The release date of the film “Sitamol”, directed by Raj Bahadur Sane, has been announced. On the occasion of the Nepali New Year 2082, today, the 1st of Baisakh, the film's poster was unveiled, and the release date was declared for the 23rd of Sawan.  


The poster features the lead actors, Saugat Malla and Benisha Hamal. In the poster, Saugat is seen holding a red flag with the support of Baisakhi, while Benisha stands beside him in a cheerful pose, carrying a child. From the poster, it can be inferred that they play the roles of husband and wife in the film.  


The film portrays the story of the Maoist People's War. Saugat plays the role of a wounded warrior in the conflict. Alongside Saugat and Benisha, the film also stars Lokendra Lekhak, Bhugol Karki, Hiunwala Gautam, Dinesh Regmi, Samip Niroula, Januka Bishwakarma, RR Khadka, Gyanu Malla, Pawan Bhattarai, Kajal Bhujel, and child artists Karan Nepali and Aaradhya Rajyalaxmi DC.  


Produced by Tulsi Devi Film Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with Jun Tara Films, “Sitamol” has a story written by Pradeep Bhardwaj and director Sane. The producers of the film are Bhugol Kumar Karki and Vikash Raj Joshi, while Apsara Nepali, Ajay Malla, and Kumar Kesi serve as executive producers. Gangaram Shrestha is the co-producer.  


The film features music by Babul Giri, choreography by Kaviraj Gahatraj, editing by Bande Prasad, DI Color by Rajendra Moktan, sound design by Mukesh Shah, action direction by Dev Maharjan and Shankar Maharjan, poster design by Rakesh Dahal, production management by Vikas Tamang and Dhan Bahadur Rai, and cinematography by Divya Suvedi.
