  Kathmandu. The third edition of the provincial-level franchise competition, Koshi Pride League (KPL), organized by Koshi Pride Pvt. Ltd., is scheduled to be held from Falgun 9 to 21. Stating that it will be held ‘with the encouragement of the Nepal Cricket Association (CAN), CAN Secretary Paras Khadka, and the Koshi Province Cricket Association,’ KPL Director Afzal Hossain informed a press conference held in Kathmandu on Sunday that seven franchise teams will participate in the competition. According to Hossain, Namuna Blasters, Itahari Adarsh ​​Giants, Birtamod Hits, Purveli Super Kings, Everest Thunders, BN Koshi Arnas, and Gorkha Avengers will participate in the competition. Hossain also revealed the names of the owners of all seven franchise teams at the press conference. According to which, Namuna Blasters is owned by Dharma Neupane, while Itahari Adarsh ​​Giants is owned by Kalpit Dhakal. Kathmandu – The third AMS Nepal-China Cultural Fusion and Tourism Promotion Program is set to take place in Guilin, China, in the upcoming month of Baisakh (April/May). The event is being organized by AMS Music and Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with Guilin Merchants International Travel Service, Guilin Tourism University, and Guilin English Corner School. The information was shared during a press conference held today.  


Satyakala Lama Tamang, the company’s chairperson, informed that the program will see the participation of over 40 Nepali artists, tourism entrepreneurs, businesspersons, and government representatives. "The event, scheduled for Baisakh 28 (mid-May), aims to enhance cultural exchange and tourism promotion between the two countries. We believe this will strengthen bilateral relations and boost cooperation in the tourism sector," said Tamang.  


The program will feature traditional Nepali and Chinese songs, dances, and tourism promotion activities. Furba Gyalbo Moktan (Thupten), the company’s Managing Director, mentioned that they have previously organized similar programs in Japan and the UAE, both domestically and internationally, and expressed confidence that this event would further deepen and strengthen Nepal-China relations.


He also shared that awards will be presented to individuals who have contributed to Nepal’s culture and tourism sector during the event.  


"Artists, tourism entrepreneurs, businesspeople, and government representatives from both Nepal and China will participate, which will help strengthen the bond between the two countries," he added.  


Choreographer Kamal Rai stated that the event will showcase dances representing the diverse cultures of Nepal, from Rai, Limbu, Gurung, and Tharu communities, reflecting traditions from Mechi in the east to Mahakali in the west, along with traditional attire.  


AMS Music and Entertainment has previously organized the Everest Tourism Award (2025) in Nepal (BS 2079) and conducted cultural exchange programs in Japan and the UAE.
