"Vasant"’s New Song "Herda Aankhama" to Release This Sunday


The new song "Herda Aankhama" from the upcoming movie Vasant is set to release this Sunday. The film itself will hit theaters simultaneously in Nepal and abroad starting Friday, Chaitra 22.  


Shot in various locations, including Goa, India, and Langtang, Rasuwa, the song's promotional stills feature lead actors Prakash Saput and Swastima Khadka in a romantic avatar.  


The film has already generated significant hype among audiences through its previously released promotional materials—songs, teasers, and trailers. As a result, Vasant has been listed as one of the most anticipated films of the year.  


The upcoming song features vocals by Sugam Pokharel and Samiksha Adhikari. Actor-director Prakash Saput has penned the lyrics and composed the music, with Yogesh Kazi Shah handling the musical arrangement.  


Star-Studded Cast & Crew

The film stars Prakash Saput, Swastima Khadka, Prabhat Pal Thakuri, Sri Shibanshi, Urmila Lamgade, Khadka Bahadur Pun (KHABPU), Anup Baral, Kamalmani Nepal, Prakash Ghimire, and Vishal Pahari.  



Produced by Galbandi Productions, this social drama features a story, screenplay, and music all crafted by director Prakash Saput. The film narrates the struggles of a boy from the marginalized Vishwakarma community who dreams of becoming a writer.  


Producers include Mohan Vishwakarma and Bindu Bohora, with Anurodh Bhattarai, Nana Thakali, and Virendra Narayan Shrestha as executive producers.  


Filming & Release Details

The movie was shot in Baglung (Saput’s hometown), Kathmandu, and various Terai regions. Cinematography is handled by Sushan Prajapati, marking Saput’s directorial debut.  


Distribution will be managed by DCAN in Kathmandu Valley and FD Company in other regions.
