Kathmandu. On the last day of the Nepali year 2080, two new Nepali films were released on Friday. The films are 'Degree Maila' and 'The Red Suitcase'. Both these films have been screened simultaneously across the country under the Friday release.
The story of these films, which are being screened to welcome the Nepali New Year 2081, is different. Even though 'Degree Maila' and 'The Red Suitcase' have been released today, not only these two films have reached the cinema halls across the country. The film 'Mahajatra', which was released 4 weeks ago, is still doing well and has occupied many theaters.
'Degree Maila':
Directed by Rambabu Gurung, 'Degree Maila' has Dayahang Rai and Aanchal Sharma in lead roles. A few years ago, the play 'Degree Maila' was also staged under the direction of actor Dayahang. The film is based on the same play. The film premiered on Thursday evening. In which many people who liked the film responded. Along with Dayahang and Anchal, Vijay Baral, Maotse Gurung, Buddhi Tamang, Prakash Ghimire and others are acting in the film. Actress Richa Sharma can be seen in a special role. Bansuri Films has produced the film with the tagline of 'Kin Chauris Marich Own Ragle' in association with Kabaddi Films and Sushma Films. The producers of the film are Vishal Gurung, Mani Ram Pokharel, Madhu Mizar and Sushma Gurung. The executive producer of the film is Krish Lama.
The Red Suitcase:
The Red Suitcase directed by Fidel Devkota is a world famous film. The film was selected in more than one and a half dozen international festivals and won awards. The premiere was held on Wednesday and Tuesday. In which most of the film watchers discussed 'The Rat Suitcase' as a unique and rare style film at the premiere.
The film has been screened in all the theaters except the cinemas of the QFX chain in Nepal. Big Movies in Kathmandu, INI Cinemas Lotsemal, FQV Cinemas Chawhil, One Cinema Baneshwar, Ranjana Cineplex, BSR Movies Gongbu, Vishwajyoti Cineplex, Kirtipur Cineplex, CK Cinemas Sitapaila, Citymax Cinemas, One Cinema Kalimati, Infinity Movies Gongbu, INI Cinemas New Baneshwar, It is said that it was screened at CC DC Cinemas Sundhara, Kamal Vinayak Cinemas Bhaktapur.
The film has Saugat Malla, Bipin Karki, Praveen Khatiwada, Srishti Shrestha and others in the lead roles. The film was edited by Saman Alavitiga in Sri Lanka and the cinematographer is Susan Prajapati. Produced by Ramakrishna Pokharel for Icefall Productions, other producers of this film include Fidel Devkota, Shobha Thapa and Sri Lankan Vimukti Jayasundara as co-producers.
Mahajatra:
'Mahajatra' is a film written and directed by Pradeep Bhattarai. Ravindrasingh Baniyan is the executive producer of the film which has been doing good business since the day of its release. The film earned more than 14 crores in three weeks.
Harivansh Acharya, Bipin Karki, Rabindra Singh Banian, Varsha Raut, Arjunjung Shahi, Prakash Ghimire, Rajaram Poudel, Praveen Khatiwada, Divyadev, Suman Karki, Shishir Bangdel, Gaumaya Gurung, Arvin Khadka and others are acting.
Max Dipesh Khatri and Yagyashwar Paudel are the producers of the film.
