Trilateral clash in NRNA America, Kharel, Sah for president, and Anup Khanal takes over as Adhikari general secretary

The voting process for selecting the new leadership of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) USA began on Sunday. Kattel, who has been active in animal welfare for a long time, honored by Agriculture Minister



Kathmandu. Journalist and animal welfare activist Madhu Kattel (AMI), who has been continuously active in the field of animal rights, protection and welfare for more than a decade, has been honored by the 'National Civil Development Society'.


Kattel, who has been raising her voice against the neglect, violence and abuse towards animals in the society, has played an important role in bringing animal welfare to the center of social and policy debate. Through journalism, she has been spreading kindness and sensitivity at the public level by disseminating news, analysis and awareness-raising materials on animal rights.


In appreciation of her dedication and contribution, Agriculture and Livestock Development Minister Ramnath Adhikari presented her with a certificate of honor at a program organized by the 'National Civil Development Society'.


After receiving the award, Kattel said, “This award is not only a recognition of my personal journey, but also of the campaign for respect and welfare for all animals. It has further increased my responsibility and I will continue this journey with greater commitment.” The award received from the ‘National Civil Development Society’ is an important recognition of her journey, which has inspired her to move forward more firmly for the rights and protection of animals in the coming days.
