Trilateral clash in NRNA America, Kharel, Sah for president, and Anup Khanal takes over as Adhikari general secretary

The voting process for selecting the new leadership of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) USA began on Sunday. About 13,000 members of the association will vote for their preferred candidates through ballots sent via email and mobile. This time, there will be a three-way competition between Bhanu Kharel, Satendra Sah, and Ramhari Adhikari for the post of president. All three candidates were intensifying the final phase of activities to woo voters before the election. Due to the divisions, disputes, and internal dissatisfaction seen in the last term, this time the members have appeared more cautious in selecting the leadership. In states with a large number of voters, like California, New York, and Texas, members have expressed expectations for the new leadership. From Diljit's sparkling outfit to Baby Bump's presence, up to Kiaras in attendance—pictures.


New York. Celebrities from the world of film, music, and fashion gathered on Tuesday at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, USA, for the event known as "fashion's biggest night out," the Met Gala. The celebrities dressed according to this year's theme of the event. The theme for Met Gala 2025 was 'Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.' Organized to raise funds for the Costume Institute, the event once again captured global attention.  

Bollywood's 'King' and superstar Shah Rukh Khan attended the event, becoming the first Indian male actor to participate in the Met. Khan's outfit was designed by renowned Indian designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee.  

Additionally, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who has been a regular at the Met Gala over the years, also participated this time. She made her presence felt on the blue carpet in a polka-dot suit dress designed by Balmain's Olivier Rousteing. Along with her husband, singer Nick Jonas, she marked her fifth appearance at the Met.  

Furthermore, Indian actress Kiara Advani was also seen making her debut at the Met Gala. She appeared in a black-gold-white outfit. Kiara is expecting a child, and her black attire featured a small heart-shaped plate for the baby.  

This year's Met Gala saw many Indians showcasing their charm, and among them was our very own Diljit Dosanjh. The Indian pop star and actor made his first appearance at the Met Gala wearing an eye-catching royal Punjabi outfit. His attire was designed by renowned designer Prabal Gurung.  

The dress code was 'Tailored to You,' meaning guests incorporated elements of their cultural identity into their outfits.
